Bowie & Prince George’s County, MD
Welcome, Neighbor
Meet me and get to know the communities I call home. As a Woodmore resident and your local REALTOR®, I keep a close eye on our market — not to sell, but to help neighbors stay informed and love where they live.
The Communities I Serve
Inside the Woodmore Neighborhoods
One community, many addresses — each with its own character. Here’s an honest look at the five neighborhoods I know street by street.

Woodmore Estates
Gated luxury living wrapped around The Country Club at Woodmore — home to the only Arnold Palmer–designed golf course in Maryland. Expect grand single-family estates, generous lots, and a resort-like setting.

The Preserves at Woodmore
Estate homes at the woodland edge — one of the area’s newer chapters, with larger, contemporary floor plans and a private, tucked-away feel while staying minutes from everything.

Woodmore Highlands
Handsome brick-front colonials, mature trees, and settled, tree-lined streets. A favorite for buyers who want established Bowie character with space and curb appeal.

Mount Oak Manor
Traditional brick colonials on quiet cul-de-sacs — comfortable, family-friendly streets with a strong sense of community and easy access to Route 50.

Fairview Manor
Quietly strong and consistently in demand, with its landmark brick entrance and well-kept traditional homes. One of the area’s most recognizable addresses.
Other PG County Communities
I also serve Bowie, Upper Marlboro, Mitchellville, Glenn Dale, Largo, Lanham, Greenbelt and more across Prince George’s County.
Each community has its own HOA and dues — I’m happy to pull current HOA details and pricing for any specific home.

This Season · A Note From Carole
The Homes We Built … and What Comes Next
Many of you have lived in Woodmore since the community was first built. You know the names of the streets, the stories behind the houses, the way the light falls across the lawn in the spring. As a Woodmore resident, I see firsthand how this market keeps evolving — what today’s buyers respond to, and how even small shifts make a big difference when it’s time to sell.
“A home isn’t just walls. It’s a chapter. And chapters deserve a thoughtful ending — not a rushed one.”
When the time comes to think about what’s next, the question isn’t really about real estate. It’s about how you want to carry your story forward. Whenever that time is right, I’m here to help you think it through.

Life in the Woodmore Area
Beautiful homes are only half the story. Here’s the everyday life around them.

Commute & Transit
U.S. Route 50 and the Capital Beltway put Washington, D.C. roughly 45 minutes away. Downtown Largo Metro (Blue/Silver Line) and MARC at New Carrollton are about 7 miles out for car-free commuting.

Green space is everywhere — Allen Pond Park (fishing and festivals), Collington Branch Park trails, and Fairwood Park’s summer concert series from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Golf & Country Club
The Country Club at Woodmore anchors the community with Maryland’s only Arnold Palmer–designed course, plus pools, tennis, and dining at The Palmer Grill.

The area is served by Prince George’s County Public Schools. School assignments depend on your exact address, so I’ll always confirm the assigned schools for any home you’re considering.

What I Help With, Beyond the Sale
Good Questions, Local Answers
Woodmore Neighborhood FAQ
Is Woodmore a good place to live?
Many buyers think so — it pairs established, well-kept neighborhoods with real amenities: the Country Club at Woodmore’s golf course, two nearby retail centers, plentiful parks, and a roughly 45-minute reach to D.C. via Route 50 and the Beltway. The right community for you depends on your budget and lifestyle, and I’m glad to help you compare them.
What kinds of homes are in the Woodmore communities?
A range — from gated estates around the country club (Woodmore Estates, The Preserves) to established brick colonials (Woodmore Highlands, Mount Oak Manor, Fairview Manor). Sizes and price points vary widely, so the best move is to look at what’s actually selling in each.
Are there HOA fees in these neighborhoods?
Yes — each community has its own homeowners association and dues, and they differ from one to the next. I can pull the current HOA details and what they cover for any specific home you’re considering.
Is there new construction in Woodmore?
The newer sections — like The Preserves at Woodmore — have brought newer estate homes to the area, and inventory shifts over time. If new construction is your goal, bring me in early so you’re represented before you visit a builder’s model.
How’s the commute to Washington, D.C.?
Typically around 45 minutes by car via U.S. Route 50 and the Capital Beltway, depending on traffic. For transit, Downtown Largo Metro (Blue/Silver Line) and MARC at New Carrollton are each about 7 miles away.
What schools serve the Woodmore area?
The area is served by Prince George’s County Public Schools. Because assignments depend on your exact address, I always confirm the specific schools for any home you’re considering rather than assume.
What’s my Woodmore home worth right now?
More than an online estimate can tell you — value here swings by street and community. I’ll prepare a free, personalized valuation from the real recent sales around your home. Request yours here.
The Bigger Picture
Living in Prince George’s County, MD
The Woodmore area is my home base — but I serve buyers and sellers across the whole county.
Prince George’s County borders Washington, D.C., which makes it one of the most convenient — and best-value — places to live in the region. You’ll often find more home for your money here than in neighboring Montgomery County or Northern Virginia, with green space, welcoming communities, and quick access to the District.
The county seat is Upper Marlboro, and growth communities like Westphalia continue to add newer homes and larger lots. Commuters have real options — Metro’s Blue and Silver Lines, MARC commuter rail, and major routes like Route 50 and the Beltway. Beyond Woodmore and Bowie, I also work throughout Upper Marlboro, Glenn Dale, Mitchellville, Largo, Lanham, and Greenbelt.
Whether you’re moving up, downsizing, relocating to the D.C. area, or simply curious what your home is worth, I’d be glad to be your local guide.
